ABOUT THE EVENT
A new LIVE-ELECTRONICA monthly RESIDENCY at NYC’s legendary music venue THE BITTER END!
Last Sunday of each month, starting Sunday, August 27th. Featuring groundbreaking synth artists from NY Modular Society, electro/acoustic supergroup Droid as the house-band, and a JAM SESSION! Gifts by Moog Music to be raffled off to ticket holders!
This electrifying series, curated by drummer/composer/producer/educator Amir Ziv, will be an opportunity for New Yorkers (both participants and listeners) to expand their knowledge of the vast array of live electronica over the course of 3 unique sets:
Opening Set 7-8pm will spotlight a different modular synth artist each month. Opening night (Sunday, August 27th) will feature the electro creations of the Brooklyn-based British artist 5ToK3. With an almost entirely Cwejman rig, 5ToK3 combines deep basses and pure oscillator waveforms to create his distinctive heavy experimental D n B / techno sound.
